Would never come back here if it was the last outdoor store on earth. Kid at the register charged my card twice then argued with me that my card did not process (it did…. Twice) now I have to wait 60 days for my bank to refund me hundreds of dollars, thanks REI such a great Christmas experience woohoo!
I went to REI a few weeks ago to begin looking at bikes. I know almost nothing when it comes to bikes and was nervous to ask questions. I have now been back 4 times and each time I have experienced the highest quality customer service. Each of their staff is AMAZING and incredibly helpful and informative. I had to exchange a bike, wrong size,the experience was fantastic. The transaction was perfect. The advise on proper sizing was perfect. I was even put on a bike to check the sizing. Oscar in the bike department knows his stuff. I left there feeling very confident. I gotta say if i have to go to rei for any bike related issue. Ill be going back there. Thanks oscar. Your the best
Four years after my last review - and the store is still excellent, and the staff as well. On the way out, I also caught the beginning of a great sunset over the store (see attached pic).
Great store for outdoor wear and outdoor sporting goods. Great for biking, kayaking, camping, running, and more. Lots to choose from. Good staff and very helpful. It was sale day and very busy.
Excellent bike service. I recently moved to the area and needed an extra hand with my tubeless set up. I normally do all repairs and maintenance my self on my bikes but since moving I’ve been a bit overwhelmed. I purchased a set of tires for my gravel bike and had lots of issues with my rear tire where it couldn’t hold air in over night. I got frustrated that I had a defective tire after having them service my tire twice and asked if they can swap it out since it’s basically brand new. Without hesitation they swapped it out with a new one then and there and were very professional about it. I will 100% be coming back and can trust them with my bikes

Everyone at REI is great! They were extremely patient and eager to help me choose the product that was the best fit.
The sales team is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They're never pushy and will absolutely steer you in the right direction. They take the time to learn your specific needs and will never try to sell you something more than you need. This store has everything you need if you are into camping, hiking, biking, climbing, etc.
